The first egg.

the first egg
I heard my sister yelling outside, I thought she was hurt. I ran up the stairs to see what had happened and she had this little egg in her hands. Our chickens laid it today, the first one. It's so cute and tiny. I can't wait for more.

    1. The real sin against life is to abuse and destroy beauty, even one's own even more, one's own, for that has been put in our care and we are responsible for its well-being.

  4. You are blessed. Unfortunately there's an ordinance preventing us from having chickens in our backyard...

    Cheers,

I have Oatmeal Creme Pies in the oven right this minute (using your recipe) and can't wait to see how they turn out!

  7. Aww...I miss our chickens...we had to take a break from the them due to wild critters!

So, you have a Canon! Yea! I love Canon...I have a Canon 10D which my dear hubby bought for me off of ebay...your photos are SO CLEAR and the color is superb! Do you use a photo editing program/site? If so, which one? You do such a wonderful job using natural lighting! I am a novice photographer and LOVE to learn more!!!

Keep up the great work and congrats on the first egg! YUM! :-)

  9. I can't wait to enjoy that same pleasure myself. I am actually going to start going to town hall meetings to reverse the city order that does not allow a person to have chickens within the city limits. Also, I love the hands in the picture. They tell a story. One that says these hands will work hard and be happy!

Innovation has nothing to do with how many R amp&; D dollars you have. When Apple came up with the Mac, IBM was spending at least 100 times more on R & D. It's not about money. It's about the people you have, how you're led, and how much you get it.
