thanks for posting this recipe. We made this a couple of days ago and it was a hit with the 3 kids and the hubby. I added a teaspoon of sugar (don't know why) and it turned out so delicious. This crust was soft and fluffy. We will make this often. Thanks again!

I love making my own crust! I was scared at first, too. But now I do it all the time! Alton Brown's recipe is my favorite. It's on my blog somewhere. I changed it up a bit when I made it, and it's super chewy and yummy! :D

I've been wanting to make homemade pizza crust for years, but, like you, never felt like I would be quite up to the task. I'll definitely try this recipe, maybe even tonight. My hubbie would be so thrilled to come home to 100%-homemade pizza!

I've been making my own pizza dough lately too. I've pretty much given up buying breads and it's so exciting to be using my bread machine weekly. And getting my hands all doughy too with breads not in the machine.

hello,

i love homemade pizza dough too. a trick that i use is to prebake the crust until lightly golden brown. then i will put the toppings on the pizza and pop it back into the oven until the cheese is lightly golden brown yuuummmmmyyyyy! i like thinly sliced red peppers on mine with the gooey cheese and my sauce. i have a totally easy and yummy sauce recipe..let me know if you want it....sherry
