You can also use stand mixer to do this - then it's going to be even easier. But a real home made butter prepared from good quality heavy cream is a real treat. It's perfect with fresh, home baked bread :-)

I made it with a jar when I was a Girl Scout Brownie. Oh, it felt like it took forever! I think it would be easier and quicker to make it in the KA stand mixer. However, with the jar version, you can really feel like you made the butter haha. Either way, I'm sure it tastes fantastic!

Awesome! I used to work in a restaurant that made their own butter... they did it the complicated way, and cultured it before whipping it~ it was pretty intense. I like this way better.
