Today, I made these. Maybe it was just my American taste buds, but I didn’t care for them at all.

They were pretty though.

  1. Hi, I just came to your blog from Baking Bites. I wanted to tell you how beautiful your photos are! And the recipes look yummy! You are so talented. I wish I had your skills when I was your age! I'll be back often.

  2. Whether or not the biscuits (cookies) where good, the photos look great!

I must tell you however that it simply isn't fair that you have a kitchenaid AND such a gorgeous set of measuring spoons. Sorry... you'll just have to send them over to me :)

laura: thanks, those measuring spoons are from wal-mart! something like 5 dollars. i'm not sure if you have wal-marts in Australia(be thankful if you don't! haha) but i'm sure you could find some like them. : )

  4. Hannah. It seems your pate choux dough didn't rise properly. Try again, when they do, they are so yummy. You can even take a more "american" approach and cut them open and fill with cream. "voila" Cream Puffs. I'm actually going to do the Sugar Puffs for a party this weekend. Good luck!

  9. i WISH i had good lighting in my kitchen to take such beautiful pictures. Windows are so far away and my lights are all yellow...ick so I always have to lug my food outside to get a decent looking picture haha :)

  10. I usually take all my food outside too. Sometimes, if the light is just right coming through the one window, I can take them inside.
