ReplyDeleteI just needed to stop in here and say, your blog makes me happy. I get a little giddy when I go to click on that button, wondering what inspiration you will throw my way! Cows...I live in the city...but, somehow, your cows remind me of a rugged man with a swagger...you know the kind, a bit aloof but when you look into their eyes, there's a depth of understanding! Seriously, how do you do it?

Pretty cows. I like that song too. That was one (among many) of the books that I ALMOST bought while I was at Powell's today, but... I'm broke. :(
ReplyDeleteGood company, long overdue; light that lasts, almost until nine; the bats that swoop, just after dusk; the smells of high spring; the first spring salads; the promise of adventure, dead ahead, maybe, if we're lucky, with a cow or two even. Happy May.

ReplyDeleteI love ur photos!!
You have such a beautiful blog!
ReplyDeleteI love cows! They are so cute! I especially love their adorable wet noses! :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE THE COWS!!!! I hope they are don't end up slaughtered for greedy human consumption!
ReplyDeleteHumans are not designed to eat meat. We are not carnivores and not omnivores. We don't have the claws, jaws, stomachs, intestines of carnivore or omnivores.
They both chase their prey and kill with their own hands and teeth and eat from the carcass. Humans lose the connection, cook and smother in sauces, get diseases and eventually die from eating animals.
